Jordy Martin won his first writing award in 1998 at the age of twelve, and has been obsessed with film and storytelling ever since. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston obtaining a B.A. in Studio Art. He has worked extensively in the healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical industries while pursuing his many passions of writing, acting, building surfboards, painting and becoming a jedi knight. The Flood is his debut novel and the first of a series. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his lovely wife, two beautiful daughters and their cat, Mr. Waffles.
